I actually got some good sleep last night. I fell asleep about 11pm after waking from a small nap. I'm now on Tylenol with Codeine so that makes me sleepy. I went to bed around 11pm and slept until 3:30 and got up as my throat had a HUGE frog in it and having your jaws banded shut makes it difficult to clear out. Anywhoo...I got up to have some hot tea which helps a great deal and feels so good on ones throat.

It is SOOOO good to see you on here and doing so well! Frogs and all :)
It must feel good to be back home and in your own space, but encouraging to hear your hospital experience was quite pleasant (under the circumstances).
Sounds like you have a wonderful friend to help you out.... Is she still popping in to check up on you? Or are you officially 'on your own' now?
You're doing wonderful Clarissa, and will keep praying for your on-going recovery ~ Take care, and will be checking in on you soon :)
Hi Kate,
Thank you so much for your post and checking up on me. :) It is great to have special people like yourself to post encouraging words. MaryAnn will be checking in on me later today and yes...it's so good to be back home. Right now it's just me the two dogs and the cat. My son flies back from New York late today and will be back home tomorrow. Thank you so much for your prayers Kate! You're a special friend!!!
Happy to see that you are home now.
I was on the blog yesterday but didn't find an update and didn't want to call So... glad you are now home if there is anything we can do just let us know!
Denise
Hi ,
So glad to see that everything went OK. You and Schuyler have matching pictures. I know how glad you are to be home and Schuyler is probably there now to help you. Just take it easy and rest in the loving comfort of friends.!!! You wouldn't like being here with all of this as it has been bitter cold but not a whole lot of snow. Enjoy your warmer weather and heal fast.!!!
Love,
Mom
Thanks Denise for checking up on me. I'm just icing, taking my pain meds and went for a little walk outside in the yard today.
Hi Mom,
Ewww...sounds very cold back there! Schuyler will get in very late tonight and come out to the house in the morning with Uncle Don and Barbara.
Glad to see you're back home and doing well! I'm a 47 year old about to go through upper/lower/chin (Jan. 13). You look great, I can't wait to hear how you're doing day by day and how the swelling goes down etc... It's nice to know we're not alone. The most comforting thing you wrote is about all the prayers, your pastors visit, and God's goodness. I need to remember I'm not alone and God is in control and loves me! Thanks for encouragement that way. Keep healing!!
~Elaine
